IAI industrial systems in Veldhoven designs, builts and delivers high-tech systems, among others for the personalisation of passports and identity cards and to secure banknotes. In these systems, numerous technologies are used, such as: laser engraving and laser perforating, inkjet printing, chip programming, machine vision and product handling. IAI has reached a prominent position in this worldwide and lucrative market and plans to develop this position even further.

Besides that, IAI wishes to expand her new activities in the solar market substantially. This concerns the design, construction and delivery of production systems for wafers and solar panels.

Characteristics of both markets are: international, business to business, investment goods and long term relations. Core competences of IAI are system design, automation, product handling, machine vision, optics, laser applications, control software and inkjet printing.
