The Accounting Officer at IAI is responsible for ensuring the timely, complete and correct accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll administration. Regarding accounts receivable, the Accounting Officer creates and closes project administration, creates quotations, sends sales invoices and ensures follow-up of the debtor list. Regarding accounts payable, the Accounting Officer encodes and books purchase invoices, assesses and books expense claims, answers questions from suppliers regarding invoices and ensures an up-to-date creditor overview. In terms of payroll administration, you process salary changes, calculate the related financial consequences, inform employees on leave registration and prepare pro forma calculations. The Accounting Officer ensures the correct processing of data related to insurances, salary, pension and sickness reporting. Furthermore, you support in the monthly closing by making financial reports, closing projects in terms of sales invoices and booked costs, creating the work-in-progress list and compacting journal entries. The Accounting Officer processes bank statements, enters cash mutations, issues foreign currency to employees and creates payments.
What we expect
You have a secondary vocational or higher professional educational degree in financial studies. We expect you to have a minimum of 5 years working experience in a stand-alone position. The Accounting Officer should be able to communicate with suppliers and customers regarding payments and explain salary data and employment conditions to organizational members. Moreover, you are proficient in ERP systems (ISAH) and Microsoft Office and knowledge of Unit 4 Multivers and SDWorx would be an advantage. Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English is required and additional languages are desired. You are located in the Netherlands.
