The M&S Operations Officer within IAI is responsible for the preparation and coordination of exhibitions, conferences and other promotional activities. Accordingly, you book the event and ensure materials are available, among which: presentations, brochures and samples. Furthermore, you manage customer specific requests for samples in cooperation with Development Engineers. The M&S Operations Officer periodically collects and analyses relevant market information/statistics, including market developments, for sales activities. Additionally, you keep the IAI website up-to-date and write advertisements and commercial/technical documentation. The M&S Operations Officer prepares and processes tender documentation (e.g. quotations, orders and calculations) and ensures the follow-up of the tender process. Accordingly, you calculate prices, issue quotations and assure the correct administrative processing of order related information. The M&S Operations Officer reports to the Bid Manager.
What we expect
You have a higher or academic educational degree in Marketing & Communication, International Business Management or similar studies. We expect you to have a minimum of 2-3 years working experience with international customers. The M&S Operations Officer should have strong writing and communication skills and should be able to look into details, while maintaining an overview. The terms ‘structural thinking, creativeness, out of the box thinking, taking initiative, analytical’ describe you! Excellent written and spoken English is required and Dutch or additional (preferably French) languages are desired. Since this position might include (international) travel and ﬁeldwork, you must possess or can acquire a valid passport. You are located in the Netherlands.
