The Software team (approximately 6 developers) at IAI is responsible for the architecture, design and development of software in our personalization machines. As a Software Engineer, you work closely together in multidisciplinary teams to meet the challenging and continuously changing customer demands. Together with this team, you determine the system architecture for new machines. You take the initiative to propose and realize new technologies, innovations and possibilities for improvement. Software Engineers analyse and solve reported failures on delivered machines. Accordingly, you assist A&T and Service Engineers in terms of software related issues for the improvement of technology and service for our customers.
What we expect
We are searching for various levels of seniority for our Software team. Seniors should have experience in developing software for complex machines. We expect you to be familiar with the concepts of state machines, control flow, threading, (unit) testing, real-time programming, WPF and MVVM. Furthermore, seniors should be able to write code in C and C# and develop for the Windows Platform and the B&R PLC platform (or equivalent). It would be an advantage is you have knowledge of Python and understanding of and/or experience with the concepts of Agile and Scrum. You must be able to communicate with Mechanical, Electrical and process engineers. Moreover, you approach these tasks with enthusiasm and have a no-nonsense attitude. As a starting software professional, we expect you to have some experience with C#, affinity with machine building and a great extent of enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch is required. You are located in the Netherlands.
